Doubleday’s Grill and Tavern – 199 E. Alex Bell Road, Centerville, OH 45459 – website

Doubleday’s Grill & Tavern is located in Centerville, Ohio and has a very extensive menu.  When I go there I have to allow extra time to read the menu and decide what I’m going to eat!

I usually start out with one of their delicious appetizers such as the Baked Artichoke Dip made with feta, ricotta, and mozzarella cheeses mixed with artichoke hearts and sun-dried tomatoes and served with tortilla chips.

If you like soup you should try their Chicken Chili – it is definitely the best around.  If you prefer salad, you might try the Mountain Salad, created by Nick Mangold (former Alter High School and Ohio State football player, currently playing for the New York Jets).  Iceberg and romaine lettuce topped with sautéed mushrooms, jack and cheddar cheeses, croutons, onions, black olives, and jalapenos served with ranch dressing.  I have mine topped with blackened chicken.

If you prefer a sandwich, they have an amazing selection.  I personally love the Tilapia Fish Sandwich and the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich.  They also have incredible burgers.  And I recommend the Boneless Pork Chop for an entrée selection.

Be sure to save room for dessert!  My pick…the Orange Crèmesicle Cake!

I always find the food and service at Doubleday’s to be fantastic.  I hope you do too!
