??????????????Elsa’s Mexican Restaurants & Sports Bars – multiple locations – https://elsas.net

If you live in or anywhere near Dayton, Ohio, you are surely familiar with Elsa’s Bad Juan.  These margaritas are legendary – and so are the stories that go along with drinking them!  Elsa’s has four locations in Dayton (and a new one outside Tampa, FL); however, I typically visit the south location on Far Hills Avenue.

Elsa’s has an amazing selection of appetizers and entrees.  They are known for their homemade chips and salsa.  My appetizer of choice is usually the Chili con Queso – cheese dip with Elsa’s special sauce and chips served with sour cream.  The wings are also famous.  I can’t say that I recommend the Mike’s “I’m On Fire Ready to Die” Wings.  Personally, I like the Jamaican Jerk Wings made with authentic Caribbean spices.  If you can get through an order of Mike’s without hurting yourself, I want to hear about it!

Another Elsa’s original – the Super Burrito – is my pick when I’m feeling particularly hungry.  It’s a 10” flour tortilla filled with refried beans and your choice of ground beef, shredded beef, chicken, chorizo, or pork carnitas topped with a mild sauce, lettuce, pico de gallo, and shredded cheese.  They also serve salads, wraps, sandwiches, and quesadillas.  If you are in the mood for a pizza, go for the Chicken BLT Ranch Pizza – Elsa’s ranch sauce topped with grilled chicken, bacon, and melted cheese covered in shredded lettuce and tomato.  It’s excellent.

I have to say, Elsa’s has a nice, casual atmosphere with awesome food and beverages and outstanding service!
