This is a very special time of year where a lot of memories are forged.  When I think about places for a holiday meal, I think of when my children were little and the special times we had at Clifton Mill.  It seems like yesterday, but we all know how time goes faster as we get older!  Clifton Mill is not just a place to eat; it’s a destination. I suggest going in the early evening and making reservations.

When you step inside, you will be reminded of a time long ago.  They serve home cooked food like your grandma made.  Breakfast is served here all day.  The menu includes pancakes as big as the plate, omelets, fried potatoes, cornmeal mush, and more.  All the flours and pancake mixes are available in the gift shop.

They also offer a variety of different sandwiches, salads, and homemade soups.  You can finish off your meal with some of the best pies around including cherry, apple, chocolate, pecan, chocolate pecan, and more.

The atmosphere of this place will take you back to yesteryear.  So sit back and relax to the gentle sounds of the old mill wheel and the soft rhythm of the water gently cascading over the falls.  Then spend some time outside looking over some amazing Christmas displays and beautiful light shows over the Little Miami River.
