Position Summary:
This position exists to perform hands-on materials testing and analysis, compile test reports, and evaluate results to ASTM/AMS or customer specifications. Based in our Miamisburg, Ohio headquarters, this position works closely with other Materials Engineers and technicians in the Metallurgical department. Candidates must also have the ability to work independently when needed to process multiple jobs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform metallographic evaluations by means of standard sample preparation techniques; such as sectioning, mounting/polishing, chemical/electrochemical etching; and correlating to their material properties.
- Perform materials laboratory testing and analysis including chemical analysis by Optical Emission Spectrometry/combustion, mechanical property evaluation (Rockwell, Brinell, and Vicker’s Microhardness analysis), tensile testing, and Charpy Impact Testing.
- Perform failure evaluation though macroscopic/microscopic examinations and chemical/mechanical material properties.
- Generate work orders and instructions through interpretation of customer provided purchase orders and specifications.
- Compile and analyze test data into formal reports and communicate with customers.
- Work closely with other departments such as NDT, calibrations, training and consulting.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science or Metallurgical Engineering and 3+ years of related experience.
- Lab experience in metallurgical sample preparation & metallography preferred.
- Solid knowledge of metallography, mechanical testing, chemical analysis, and weld testing.
- Failure investigation and scanning electron microscopy experience a plus.
- Exposure to image/analysis software preferred.
- Solid knowledge of material processing.
- Experience with abrasive saws, bandsaw, CNC lathe a plus.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as other organizational/planning tools.

Position Summary:
This position exists to provide accounting and clerical assistance to the company through accurate preparation and maintenance of accounting documents and reports and works on-site at our Miamisburg, Ohio headquarters.
Responsibilities of this position include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements. Additionally, this position will operate accounting software to process business transactions such as accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers, and receipts.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records for customer and vendors within accounting software and create new profiles for both as needed.
- Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database.
- Maintain accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
- Pay vendor invoices by verifying transaction information, scheduling and preparing disbursements, and obtaining authorization of payment.
- Create and send customer invoices by verifying transaction information and charges.
- Receive and process customer payments via check, credit card, and electronic transfer.
- Collect revenue by reminding delinquent accounts and notifying customers of insufficient payments.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements in a timely manner.
- Resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation, issuing stop payments and adjustments.

Position Summary:
This position exists to provide non-destructive testing inspections of both amusement ride structures and critical parts on-site at Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio and is a remote post from our Miamisburg, Ohio headquarters.
As a Level II Technician, this position will set up equipment and complete control checks; perform non-destructive tests; evaluate inspection results for acceptance or rejection determinations according to applicable codes, standards, and specifications; and record results. Level II Technicians are thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method of NDT being used and are responsible for on-the-job training and guidance of assistants and Level I Technicians.
Ride structure inspections require daily work at height in excess of 100 feet. A large portion of work is completed outdoors with exposure to hot and cold weather, and shifts vary from first to third depending on the season. Accurate and timely reporting of inspection results is a critical function of this position.

As an NDT trainee, this position will provide a wide range of hands-on support for the day-to-day throughput of our various NDT departments.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks under the direction of certified Level 2 and Level 3 technicians while gaining experience and acquiring knowledge of customer specifications and inspection requirements.
- Unpack parts, document the as-received condition, and prepare orders for inspection using predetermined criteria.
- Perform visual inspection and package parts in accordance with customer requirements upon the completion of processing.
- Complete applicable paperwork for orders in-process.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to company safety standards and practices as well as legal regulations. Alert others as appropriate regarding potential hazards or concerns.

- Experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred.

- Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet conditions (non-weather) and is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; work in high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and risk of radiation.
