Jay Berry joined the ATS team in November 2011 as our Metallurgical Technician.  Jay has an Associates Degree from Sinclair Community College in Mechanical Engineering Technology and worked in the metallurgical field before coming to ATS.  On any given day you will find Jay cutting, mounting, grinding, and polishing out in the lab to prep samples for testing.  Jay also performs tensile and hardness tests.  He is looking forward to learning more about and beginning to work in the chemical analysis area as well.

Jay and his wife Tammy have a blended family of four children ranging in age from 13 to 21 years old.  Jay and his family spend the hot summer weekends boating and water-skiing.  Jay also builds high powered model rockets, a hobby he and his brother have enjoyed together since childhood.
