The ATS staff continues to grow!  This month we’d like to introduce you to Cory Wells, newest member of the rope access team.  Cory joined our staff at the beginning of October.  A native of Mansfield, OH, Cory has spent the last three years traveling across the country and living out of his truck while installing zip lines and adventure courses.  He’s literally been from coast to coast – North Carolina, Colorado, Montana, California, and Hawaii just to name a few of his favorite locations.  That experience gave him some unique qualifications regarding the inspections our rope access team performs for our amusement park customers.  His knowledge of working with multi-strand wire cabling will also be useful to our wire rope inspections.

Cory had no problem achieving his SPRAT Level I rope access and his Visual Level II inspection certifications.  He is currently working on earning his Magnetic Particle Level II cert.

It’s no surprise that Cory is an outdoor adventure seeker.  He enjoys rock climbing, white water rafting, sky diving, mountain biking, and skiing.  In his own words, “if I can get hurt doing it, I want to try it!”
