If you know Chris Small, you know he’s a big guy with a big appetite!  Chris loves eating out at the many great locally owned restaurants and pubs in the Miami Valley.  Each month he’ll share one of his favorites with you.

This is a favorite spot of mine – especially in the summertime when the patio walls are down.  Take a ride down the bike path along the river to the Linden Street Bridge.  Just turn left and you’ll see it!  Coming off the bike path, we order drinks (usually a tall ice water to start because of all the bike riding- ha ha!) and more than likely, Spinach Con Queso Dip with Tortilla Chips.  If I’m with more than a couple of people, I also order the Buffalo Chicken Dip.

If I’m eating light I might get the Quarterback Quesadilla as my entree.  For a healthy lunch, I order the Spinach Salmon Salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette.  Chumps is one of a handful of places that cooks salmon properly…and I’m talking medium rare.  When I’m in the mood for a sandwich, the Swordfish is awesome.  They also have a great selection of wraps.  And if I’m really famished, I order the Grilled Pork Chops with Sugar Snap Peas.

Chumps has a great selection of beers and wine, and it’s a fun place to watch sports.  They do a phenomenal job catering events as well.  In fact, we’ve often held our company Christmas party there.
