The Oregon Express, founded in 1976, is located on E. Fifth Street in the Historic Oregon District. It is a hotspot for live, local entertainment, and is popular for its delicious pizzas.

When I go stop by the Oregon Express, I typically enjoy the O.E. Special – pepperoni, Italian sausage, fresh onions, green peppers, mushrooms, black and green olives, and banana peppers. However, recently I have been ordering the BLT pizza. It’s a great combination of mozzarella and provolone cheeses, bacon, fresh lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. If pizza isn’t your thing, they also offer great sandwiches. I’m a fan of their Reuben. It’s a classic with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing.

If you’re looking to enjoy a drink, they have a wide variety of beers on tap, including many local craft and specialty beers such as Warped Wing Seasonal. An order of their nachos makes a great snack with your favorite brew.
